I’ve seen where adults have become viciously mean-spirited; they feel that they must in order to be taken seriously. We tend to forget that money isn’t everything. We’ve made the value of “things” more important than building relationships. Things are things and we determine the “value” of these things, and then kill because of the things we created. It seems that our world has turned the magnifying glass on bad behavior where it appears to be rewarded. Kindness is viewed as weakness, and mean-spiritedness as strength. Being kind is an extraordinary gift that we should practice daily.
